In conditions of high-intensity combat operations against Russian troops, the psychological resilience of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is an important component of combat effectiveness. Given this, NATO's systemic support, aimed at strengthening the psychological resilience of the personnel of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, is extremely relevant.

The second cycle of the current phase of the NATO project on psychological support and restoration of combat readiness of military personnel, implemented within the framework of the Comprehensive Assistance Package to Ukraine, has now been completed. From October to December 2025, 48 practical trainings were conducted in the troops (forces), in which almost 1,500 military personnel of various categories participated.

An important feature of the project is the close cooperation of the team of psychologists involved in conducting training activities with officers of the psychological support structures for personnel. This approach makes it possible to promptly respond to requests from the command of the military unit, taking into account the specifics of service and combat activities and the individual needs of servicemen, which allows to increase the effectiveness of trainings and their practical benefit for participants. The general coordination of the project in the troops (forces) is carried out by the Main Department of Psychological Support for Personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The executive partner of the project is the NGO “League of Officers”, which has been actively working in the field of psychological support for servicemen since 2014.
