With the support of the Democracy Fund of the US Embassy in Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, specialists from the public organization "League of Officers" visited the KMR "Kagarlytskyi Lyceum No. 1" with the project "Reducing the Risks of Injuries and Deaths of Children from Explosive Objects."
Trainers from the NGO "League of Officers" conducted mine safety classes for students. The presence of presentations for different ages allowed to qualitatively convey a practical algorithm in case of encountering a mine threat to both elementary school and high school students.
During an interesting and informative meeting, high school students deepened their knowledge of mine safety, learned how to act correctly in the event of a mine hazard, and repeated the rules of behavior in emergency situations.
In total, 140 high school students, as well as teachers and service personnel of the institution, were covered by the information.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the Democracy Promotion Foundation of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine in partnership with the Kyiv Regional State (Military) Administration for organizing such important safety-related classes for secondary education institutions of the Kaharlyk community.

Administration KZ KMR “Kagarlytsky Lyceum No. 2 named after V. P. Dashenko” expresses gratitude to the trainers of the NGO “League of Officers” for the high-quality information hours for the students of our institution on the basic rules of mine safety.
The classes were attended by 120 students, as well as class teachers and lyceum staff.
It should be noted that the educational material was presented in an accessible form, taking into account the age characteristics of the students. In addition, the teachers of the NGO "League of Officers" successfully combined theory with practice, which made it possible to recreate a practical algorithm of actions in case of detection of suspicious objects and mine danger.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Foundation for Democracy Promotion of the US Embassy in Ukraine for holding such important educational and cognitive meetings for students and teachers, which provide an opportunity to be informed about life safety issues.
