With the support of NATO, as part of the Comprehensive Assistance Package for Ukraine, the implementation of a project to provide psychological support, restore resilience and combat capability of servicemen of the Ukrainian Defense Forces is successfully underway.
During July - August 2026, within the sixth cycle of the current stage of the project, 34 training seminars were held, in which more than 1,000 military personnel of various categories participated.
During the trainings, the main focus is on strengthening psychological resilience, developing self-help and comrade-in-arms skills in acute stressful situations, as well as effectively restoring the psychological state of servicemen after combat operations. The format of the seminars was not limited only to the established training program, but also provided for a prompt response to additional targeted requests from the command of military units.
The general coordination of NATO project activities in this area is carried out by the Main Directorate for Psychological Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which summarizes requests from troops (forces) and determines the need for practical seminars in military units (subunits).
The practical implementation of the project is provided by the NGO "League of Officers", which has been effectively working in the field of psychological support for servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine since 2014.
